Daniel M. Lowen, President

In his role as President of Caerus Realty Capital LLC Dan Lowen has overall responsibility for the firm’s acquisition and development activities. Through the course of his career Dan has successfully executed in excess of $1 Billion in real estate investment and brings this experience to Caerus as he guides the firm’s investment strategy. This outlook has gained him a reputation for the ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining a focus on the details and has been a driving force in his noteworthy career.
Dan’s previous roles include: Vice-President, Acquisitions for Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel where he sourced, structured, and negotiated direct and joint venture value-add and development investments in office, retail, industrial, and multi-family properties in the Pacific Northwest for the firm’s institutional clients; and Vice-President, Acquisitions for Urdang Capital Management (a subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon) where he similarly identified, evaluated, and structured direct and joint venture value-add investments in office, retail, and multi-family properties in the eastern U.S. on behalf of the firm’s pension fund clients. The diverse experiences gained in these roles contribute to Dan’s expertise in real estate finance, development, investment, and operation as well as shape his resolute fiduciary duty and commitment to transparency, accountability, and integrity.
Dan attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics with dual concentrations in Real Estate and Entrepreneurial Management, served as the President of the University’s Ski Racing Team (USCSA.), and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon national fraternity. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (U.S. Green Building Council), and is active in the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP – Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
